** Angel of Christmas

Michael G. Larkin Productions,

Jonathan Scarfe, Wanda Cannon, Jennifer Finnigan, Candice-May Langlois, Francis X. McCarthy, Chloe McClay, Jessica Rose, Holly Robinson Peete, Nelson Wong

Susan (Jennifer Finnigan) is a newspaper copy editor who had dreams of being a writer. She is offered the opportunity of writing a piece about an antique Christmas angel that was carver by her great-grandfather. Susan writes down the facts that she knows about the object, and the editor is quite impressed, but in order to get the article in the paper, she has to complete it by Christmas Eve. But she’s got to learn more about the rest of the story and find a ending or else it can’t be published. But she runs into a fellow named Brady (Jonathan Scarfe) who seems to be everywhere, and who is intent on getting her to loosen up a little bit and regain some of her Christmas spirit. But as she grows closer to Brady, there are some secrets waiting to unfold to help her find an ending to her story.

This is a very lovely little tale all surrounding one object, the angel tree topper. There is a stunning story around this and the plot twists and turns through a maze of facts as Susan learns bit by bit the history of this magical piece. The script is well written and it’s a fresh Christmas story. This is actually a fast paced and exiting story with a lot of surprises. Very well performed, the casting is good, the setting is good, and the surprise ending (although you’ll probably figure it out before it happens) is well done. This was an enjoyable experience, so give it a shot.
