Four couples meet every Sunday for brunch and to share stories. The couples have issues, and each of them has things going on in their lives, although this Sunday turns out different than all the rest when the find out that a number of dirty bombs have been set off and the radiation is on the way. There is no escape and they know they just have a few hours left, but their issues are big enough that they can’t seem to let them go as they continue their typical bickering and arguments as the time draws nigh.

This is a very quirky film. I wasn’t blown away with it, but it had it’s moments. They certainly are human, bickering and fighting with each other to the bitter end. This is an indie type film, and the time is spend developing the quirky characters and not about the destruction of the world which is just a bit of a distraction to the real movie. So don’t expect lots of action and suspense, there’s not a lot here, but if you love deep but flawed characters, they are well played and very well done. There is a ton of talent in this movie. It’s not for everyone, but for lovers of dark humor and characters that are deeply developed, this is for you. Not extremely exciting and slowly plodding along, but for some people, I know they’re going to love this. For most of us, it’s just too long for nothing much to happen.
