A couple has been separated for a year, and really don’t like each other very much. They have two kids who decide to blow off the plans for Christmas and work on getting the parents back together. So they separately setup a vacation for Mom and Dad at the family beach house. Imagine their surprise when the bump into each other at the beach house. Parents have a lot of issues, but maybe they’re not as far off as they thought.
This is a common story, and it’s very predictable from start to finish, but several really interesting bit players emerge as we go through the story that liven things up. It’s just what you would expect it to be. It’s not a bad film by any means, and a very simple Christmassy movie. Well acted and enjoyable.
