A bunch of teenagers set off a gigantic curse when Casper Galloway (Devon Bostick) is watching his Grandfather’s (Christopher Lloyd) store and they accidentally break an urn containing an evil spirit. Now everyone they come in contact with is killing themselves and turning into a Zemon (half Zombie half Demon) in this comedy horror show.

This film is 99% comedy and 1% horror, so many people are going to hate this. But it’s supposed to be a joke, not taken seriously. This is a comedy themed around zombies and curses. If you watch it as a comedy, you can see the really decent sense of humor this has. Like Police Squad or the Naked Gun Movies, this can’t be taken realistically in the least, as it’s absurd over the top comedy, but I really enjoyed this. I laughed out loud a number of times when they hit with something I totally did not expect. As they try to figure out, not only a way to end the curse, but how to keep from making eye contact with anyone is hysterical. This is a really funny film with all the nuance of a feature length gag reel. It’s the funniest thing I’ve seen in quite a while!
