This story starts with a horrible car crash.  Suddenly Aunt Martha (Sean Young) is taking care of her orphaned niece and nephew.  But the house is mortgaged to the hilt, and the bank is foreclosing.  After the loans are paid there is no money left and they’re going to lose the house.  Child Services wants to separate the kids and put them into different homes.  Martha is determined to keep the family together whatever the cost.  So they have to engage the whole town to find a way to find a home for the holidays.  That’s all there is to it.  But it’s a long battle and nothing is easy.  They have a friend at child services, but the supervisor is a stickler for the rules and insists on doing things by the book But as everyone comes together, and it looks the most impossible, a miracle happens.  It is a surprise where their help comes from.

This a a very sensitive and touching Christmas film, and very well done.  The characters are well developed and warm and caring.  The story is very simple, but gets right to your heart.  Nice movie!
