The sequel is worse than the original.  This movie, like the first one (The Dog Who Saved Christmas) are pure drivel.  This brings back pretty much the same cast as the original with the addition of Paris Hilton as Zeus the dog’s love interest.  Dog I was a rip off of Home Alone.  This one is The Great Outdoors: Dog Edition.   Pointed at kids who like dogs and Christmas with not much else going on, this one takes the family on Christmas vacation to Grandma’s vacation cabin in the snowy mountains.  When they arrive, the wife’s brother is there, and the two guys start an instant feud trying to top each other.  Most of the movie is spent with each one trying to outdo the other.  Meanwhile in a bizzarre side story, a young socialite rich girl shows up with an expensive necklace.  The bad guys from the first movie steal it, and then it ends up (in a really weird twist) around the neck of one of the dogs!  So they kidnap Mario Lopez and Paris Hilton, so the uncles have to bring their families together to try to rescue the dogs.

This has nothing at all going for it, and is very uninteresting.  Avoid it at all costs.  It’s a new movie by date stamp, but has all been done before much better.
